Brifen’s Wire Rope Perimeter Barrier is based on the Brifen Wire Rope Safety Fence used in over 40 states and 30 countries for the last 4 decades to prevent crossover and roadside accidents on highways and local roads. While this system is NOT tested to the ASTM crash rating system, it can provide some level of deterrence from vehicle incursions. Uses include around secure areas at airfields, military installations, sensitive facilities or manufacturing plants and other locations needing perimeter barriers as a free-standing system or an enhancement to existing chain-link fence or other barrier. There are two terminal options - use the crashworthy WRGT-FL terminal or our non-crashworthy bollard style end terminal which provides tamper-proof protection for rope connections while ensuring an immovable anchor.
